Right Wrist Injuries with Arthroscopic Repairs - Medical Illustration, Human Anatomy Drawing
This exhibit begins with one skeletal view of the right wrist and hand including the various ligaments in this region. This image illustrates the pre-operative condition including the tear of the triangular fibrocartilage complex and the tear of the lunotriquetral ligament, as well as the synovitis amongst the carpal bones. The key steps of this procedure are illustrated. These images include the insertion of the arthroscopic instruments, the debridement of the ligament tears and the removal of the excess synovium in the wrist.
